About Linda Dunkel

Linda Dunkel is an executive, team and Board coach who has worked with numerous organizations over the past 40 years in business.

Today, she is also the Chair of the Board of the Bali Institute for Global Renewal—focused on building global citizens and service leadership in Bali, Indonesia. She also works as the Chair Emeritus of Interaction Associates, having served as President and Chief Executive Officer for nine years. Additionally, she was Chair of the company’s Board of Directors for over a decade.

Linda has served in senior level positions in two start-up companies and was vice-president of a Fortune 100 company prior to joining Interaction Associates.

Linda facilitates Board retreats and Board strategy sessions, senior level teams, coaches executives and Boards, and speaks throughout the world on collaboration in action as a winning strategy. She consults with clients in strategy development, collaborative systems design, teams, and culture change.

Linda was among 18 winners of the prestigious U.S. 2006 Best Bosses Award — a national honor that recognizes the most innovative and inspirational leaders of midsized and small businesses across America, and has been profiled in numerous publications for her collaborative leadership style.

Linda has served as a Board Member of the Interaction Institute for Social Change, (IISC), IA’s sister nonprofit organization, the Dallas YWCA and the University of Texas at Dallas’s Business Advisory Board.

She has served as the Chair of the Board of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Betty Williams’ World Centers of Compassion for Children International, which helps refugee children worldwide. In partnership with the Italian government, they organized a refugee center for children in Southern Italy’s Basilicata Region.

As a leader interested in social justice and promoting human dignity, Linda has been a strong promoter of the work of both Interaction Associates and the IISC globally, and has worked in Asia and throughout Europe on behalf of social causes. She is a strong proponent of “conscious capitalism,” and served as a thought partner in the foundation of this movement, along with leaders from Whole Foods, Starbucks and many others.

Linda is a sought-after presenter at many national conferences, including at the Conscious Capitalism and The Conference Board Leadership Development Conferences. She works both locally and globally, and has given keynote addresses internationally, in such forums as The Leadership Conference in Sydney, Australia.
